Monday, 1 December, on the Tasman Sea We woke up just before our 730 breakfast arrived in our cabin. Overnight we got an extra hour of sleep, as we just set the clock back one of the two hours difference between New Zealand and Australia. The other hour will be adjusted tonight before we arrive in Tasmania tomorrow morning. The swimming pool is still closed due to the relatively rough seas, so we’ll have to wait to swim again. We spent most of the day reading, eating, and watching TV. Later in the morning I saw the captain in the Lido cafeteria, and asked him if he was responsible for the rough seas, and he laughed and said that he was. Another day of not doing a lot, but in the afternoon we did go to the card room and played bridge for about three hours. The weather settled down a bit later in the afternoon and evening. |
