Wednesday, 17 December, Moorea, Tahiti We woke up to a wonderful room service breakfast, with Gail's ultimate fruit plate, and my excellent omelet with bacon. Yesterday afternoon they'd brought us a bottle of champagne, but we asked for fruit juice instead, which they brought quickly. We just finished it for breakfast today. We spent time on the deck, including feeding the fish, and then watching a movie. Gail wrote a bunch of postcards, which some lucky people may receive eventually, and I continued to update pictures and text on the web. Later we went to the beach and splashed and played and watched all of the fish. Like in Rarotonga, you can just walk into shallow water and see all sorts of fish without even snorkeling. After another late lunch we went to the fresh water swimming pool, which was also wonderful. We were the only ones in the pool, and have also been almost the only ones in all other locations, too. They say the rainy season is just starting, which is why no one is here. Well, other than some brief showers, it has been beautiful. We finished the day about 800 in the little crepe restaurant that is half way out the walkways to the bungalows. They were excellent, as everything else has been. One more wonderful day.
