Saturday, 31 January, Ka'anapali, Maui We both continued to feel better, but were still doing lots of wheezing and coughing, and spent another day watching whales, reading, and watching TV. I continued working on uploading pictures and text to the websites. We called Cooper to wish him a happy 5th birthday. He really liked the Buzz Lightyear pajamas we'd sent him from Disney World. The beach continues to have a red flag warning, so not too many people are in the water. In addition, it has been pretty windy and cool, so we didn't go out to any water activities. We watched Sweet Smell of Success and The Rainmaker, since TCM was doing a Burt Lancaster day. If you're going to be sick, Maui is as good a place as any to be sick, particularly when you can be pretty comfortable and watch whales. Back to itinerary (trip home page)
