Tuesday, 3 February, Ka'anapali, Maui I woke up on the living room couch, since I'd not been able to sleep due to coughing. This whole bronchitis thing is just taking forever for both of us to shake. We had an 830 appointment with Helen, our sales representative, so we met with her. She marveled at our trip, but despite her best efforts she wasn't able to sell us any more time here. We told her we just don't have the money, which is true, and that we don't finance things. We did listen with interest to her descriptions of the changes that have happened here (which we've noticed, as haven't been here in about 16 months) as well as those that are supposed to be coming soon. We also caught up on other things Diamond Resorts is doing, as well as on other projects around the island. I felt good enough to walk to Star Market and Subway to stock up on some food and get dinner. It was a particularly wet and windy day, so we didn't go to the pool and saw almost no one on the beach or in the pool. Another good day to stay in and watch old movies on TCM.
